WATERSLIDE-ATHON ON JUNE 17 TO BENEFIT RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE
We’re happy to announce that on Saturday June 17th, Wilderness Resort will again be serving as a major sponsor for the Wisconsin Dells Waterslide-athon, benefitting the Ronald McDonald House® in Madison.
This year marks the 12th anniversary for this great event! The concept for it started as a way for our family-friendly Dells community to help families in need, and boy, have we ever! To date, this event has raised a whopping $224,056! This year 6 businesses in Wisconsin Dells will be lending their support to the cause.
As part of this fun day, we will be welcoming Ronald McDonald at our resort from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Weather permitting, Ronald will be walking through the Lost World Waterpark and will be available for photos and to meet and greet anyone who is interested.
The Ronald McDonald House of Madison was welcomed more than 26,000 families from 50 states and more than 20 countries since it opened its doors in in 1993. The facility, which is located at 2716 Marshall Court on Madison’s west side, provides a “home away from home” for families of children who are undergoing treatment for serious illness or injuries at Madison area health care facilities.
