So, what does your title mean you do at the Wilderness?
I joined Wilderness looking for better opportunities to learn English, work in customer service, and excel in a field I enjoyed. I make coffee, stock the coffee shops, make sure they look clean and pleasant during my shift, and get everything ready for the next shift.

This is the first job where I feel truly comfortable and at ease. The schedules are very flexible, allowing me time for myself, and my team is genuinely kind and supportive. Working in customer service has helped me discover a talent I didn’t know I had; in short, Wilderness has been a chapter where I’ve been able to bring out the best in myself professionally.

What is the best part of your job?
I really enjoy customer service.  I’ve discovered that about myself, and I also like my role as a barista. Personally, the coffee shop business has always appealed to me.

How long have you worked at the Wilderness and in what roles?
I’ve been in a barista position at Wilderness for 10 months.

Favorite wet attraction at the Wilderness?
I really like the wave pool a lot.

Favorite dry attraction at the Wilderness?
I haven’t had the chance to visit one yet, but the attraction on the top of my list to try is the zipline. I hope to come back on my day off soon to have that experience.

Favorite food venue at Wilderness?
Mama Tiger Korean BBQ

Piece of advice for first time guests?
Wilderness Resort features many attractions and entertainment options for the whole family. If this is your first visit, take the time to explore the entire resort. You can carry a map showing all the locations, and there are also buses available to take you anywhere within the resort.
