An Abundance of Thanksgiving Feasts!

It’s that time of year when we give thanks for our family, friends and all that we have. We’re excited to announce that we will have several options to celebrate this wonderful day of “feasting” at our resort this year.

Served Buffet at Glacier Canyon Conference Center
Enjoy a hearty buffet served by mask and glove wearing staff, featuring chef carved roast turkey and prime rib; cherrywood smoked ham; maple and whole-grain mustard glazed salmon; and butternut squash ravioli with a browned butter sauce.

Traditional Thanksgiving accompaniments will include: port cranberry sauce with orange zest; sage dressing; mashed Yukon gold potatoes & turkey gravy; holiday green bean casserole; candied sweet potatoes topped with toasted marshmallows; super sweet corn niblets; roasted brussel sprouts drizzled with a balsamic glaze; a salad bar including mixed greens, toppings and dressings; rotini pasta salad; a selection of Wisconsin cheeses; fresh seasonal fruit; assorted dinner rolls; spiced pumpkin bisque; and chicken and wild rice soup.

There will also be a “Kids Korner” for littles with pickier palates that will feature: mac & cheese; golden fried chicken nuggets; mini corndogs; Jello cubes; and crispy tater tots.

For dessert we will be serving up traditional apple, pumpkin and southern pecan pies; fresh baked assorted cookies; assorted cheesecakes; chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream icing; and carrot cake with raisins, pineapple and walnuts iced with cream cheese frosting.

Cost is $32.99 for adults and $13.99 for kids 4-12 years of age. Children 3 and under are free. Dinner will be served from 12-7 pm. All tables will be socially distanced 6 feet apart. Reservations are required. Please call 800.867.9453.

Family Style To-Go Meal

If your family would prefer a more private option, our conference center will also be serving up Family Style To-Go Meals that you can take back to your condo, cabin, villa or room to enjoy.

These meals will include: oven roasted turkey; cherrywood smoked ham; sage dressing; port cranberry sauce with orange zest; mashed Yukon gold potatoes & turkey gravy; holiday green bean casserole; candied sweet potatoes topped with toasted marshmallows; super sweet corn niblets; dinner rolls and your choice of pumpkin pie, apple pie or chocolate cake.

Cost for the To-Go dinner option is $40 for a dinner for two and $80 for a dinner for four.  Pick ups will be available from 12 – 7 pm. Reservations are required. Please call 800.867.9453.

Fields at the Wilderness
Fields at the Wilderness will be serving a traditional Thanksgiving menu in addition to their regular menu. They will be open from 12-7 pm. Reservations are required please call 608.253.1400. The restaurant is also offering a carry out option.

Burger Bar will be Football Ready
If your interest is in watching football, you will want to consider stopping at the Burger Bar on Thanksgiving.  We’ll be playing the big games on our large projection screen TV and will have some great game-time food features.  Options will include a pulled turkey sandwich served with coleslaw and chips; a buffalo chicken dip served with tortilla chips, carrots and celery; and a Linguica topped with peppers & onions. There will also be a variety of drink specials. Reservations are not needed.

Survivor’s Thanksgiving Specials
Survivor’s will also be keeping it casual with their burger and sandwich specials. Catch a JJ Watt Belly Buster which is served on a toasted hoagie roll filled with grilled andouille sausage, smoked brisket, pepperjack cheese sauce and black bean-corn salsa. There will also be the Pittsburgher pastrami sandwich topped with provolone, French fries, oil & vinegar coleslaw and tomato smashed on to thick white bread. And, of course, don’t forget our Burger of the Week which will feature a 1/4 pound chuck patty topped with Havarti, stuffing, cranberry-apple chutney and gravy on a brioche roll. TVs will be on in Survivor’s and tuned to football. Reservations are not needed.
