Make Your Halloween Happy at the Wilderness!
Is your family looking to have a fun and safe way to celebrate Halloween this fall? Consider packing up your little ghosts and goblins and heading to the Wilderness for these guest exclusive activities!
Weekends in October
Trick or Treat Trail:
(Fridays and Saturdays only from 6-8 pm)
Get your kids’ costumes on and stop by the new WildKids Club (located on the first level of Take Flight) to get a map of 10 stops on the Trick or Treat Trail and a goody bag. Follow the map and your kiddos will get all sorts of treats and small toys. (Free!)
Halloween Cookie Decorating:
(Saturdays only from 1-2 pm)
Have a blast decorating a Halloween cookie and satisfy your little’s sweet tooth at the new WildKids Club room (located on the first level of Take Flight). One cookie per child. While supplies last. (Free!)
Pumpkin Patch:
(Saturdays and Sundays only from 10 am-12 pm)
Catch a horse-drawn wagon ride in the lower parking lot next to Frontier Condo 219 to our mini-pumpkin patch in Wilderland. Then pick out a mini pumpkin and decorate it with a silly foam sticker face. One per child. While supplies last. (Free!)
Wagon Rides:
(Saturdays and Sundays only from 12pm-4pm)
Normal wagon rides resume under the large skywalk by Glacier Canyon Lodge Entrance 1. Enjoy autumn’s colors on the Wilderness trails.
Other Halloween WildKids Activities will Include:
*Color your own Halloween bookmark (Free)
*Halloween themed Sand Art ($2-$10)
*Make your own Halloween Bracelet (Free)
*Foam Halloween Craft- (Free)
*Color your own Halloween wind chime- ($2)
*Halloween Puzzles to play and take home- (Free)
*Witches Brew- ($1 Vanilla ice cream w/ orange soda)
*Color your own Trick or Treat bags
*Halloween themed movies will be playing throughout the day
(*All will occur in the new WildKids Club Room on the first level of Take Flight.)
Virtual Costume Contest:
This year due, to COVID-19 safety precautions, our annual Halloween Boo Bash and Costume Contest for guests is going virtual. Guests can enter the Costume Contest by following these three easy steps:
1. Post on Facebook or Instagram a photo of you or your family dressed in your Halloween costumes at your favorite spot at Wilderness Resort
2. Tag @wildernessresort
3. Add the hashtag #wildernessresorthalloween2020
Winners will be announced on our resort’s Facebook and Instagram pages on 11/1/2020 and will receive a Wilderness Resort Gift Card
