How do you want to celebrate your Thanksgiving this year? We have a variety of options that are sure to satisfy your family. If you want to go big, we have an amazing Thanksgiving buffet to indulge in at Glacier Canyon Conference Center. If simplicity if more your thing, we have that covered as well!
Buffet at Glacier Canyon Conference Center
Enjoy a hearty buffet featuring chef carved roast turkey and prime rib; cherrywood smoked ham; and orange salmon.
Traditional Thanksgiving accompaniments will include: port cranberry sauce with orange zest; traditional sage dressing; mashed Yukon gold potatoes & turkey gravy; holiday green bean casserole; candied sweet potatoes topped with toasted marshmallows; super sweet corn niblets; wild rice pilaf; a full salad bar including mixed greens, toppings and dressings; rotini pasta salad; a selection of Wisconsin cheeses; fresh seasonal fruit; assorted dinner rolls; spiced pumpkin bisque; and chicken and wild rice soup.
There will also be a “Kids Korner” for littles with pickier palates that will feature: mac & cheese; golden fried chicken nuggets; mini corndogs; Jell-O cubes; and crispy tater tots.
For dessert we will be serving up traditional apple, pumpkin and southern pecan pies; fresh baked assorted oatmeal, caramel apple, sugar, chocolate chip and turtle cookies; chocolate swirl, strawberry swirl, Classic New York and Black Forest cheesecakes; chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream icing; and carrot cake with raisins, pineapple and walnuts iced with cream cheese frosting.
Our Thanksgiving buffet costs $46.99 for adults and $19.99 for kids 4-12 years of age. Children 3 and under are free. A 21% prepaid gratuity will be charged at the time of purchase. Tax is not included. Dinner will be served from 12-7 pm. Reservations are required. Please call 800.867.9453.
Family Style To-Go Meal
If your family would prefer a more private option, our conference center will also be serving up Family Style To-Go Meals that you can take back to your condo, cabin, villa or room to enjoy.
These meals will include: oven roasted turkey; cherrywood smoked ham; traditional sage dressing; port cranberry sauce with orange zest; mashed Yukon gold potatoes & turkey gravy; super sweet corn niblets; holiday green bean casserole, dinner rolls and one-piece pumpkin pie and one piece apple pie.
Cost for the To-Go dinner option is $60 for a dinner for two or $120 for a family of four. Pick ups will be available from 1 – 6 pm. Reservations are required. Pick Up Time will be determined at the time of order. Please call 800.867.9453.
Fields at the Wilderness
Fields at the Wilderness will be serving a traditional Thanksgiving menu in addition to their regular menu. They will be open from 12-7 pm. Reservations are required. Please call 608.253.1400.
Swimm’n Chick’n Beer, Wings & Football
The Swimm’n Chick’n Chicken Eatery & Sports Bar is a casual restaurant overlooking the Wild West Waterpark that features an optimized menu centered around our star ingredient, a hand-crafted gourmet chicken tender. From salads to sandwiches, tender baskets to wraps, most items on our menu include this star of the show. The Swimm’n Chick’n offers a variety of mouth-watering sauces and dry rubs to pair with your chicken choices, as well as all-American favorite sides such as warm biscuits with honey butter; coleslaw; and the soon-to-be guest favorite, our Rooster Fries: Crispy French fries smothered in white queso topped with our crispy chicken tenders, crumbled bacon and fresh jalapeños. It will be open from 11 am to 10 om on Thanksgiving.
The Burger Bar
The Burger Bar serves some of the best 7 oz hand-pattied local Hereford chuck hamburgers, bratwurst, and seasoned fried chips. But that’s not all; they also create locally crafted cocktails and shakes. Their specialty shakes (with or without alcohol) are the perfect after-dinner treat! And best of all they will be playing all of the football games on a HUGE projection screen TV!
