Halloween Happenings At Wilderness Resort
Is your family looking to change-up the way you celebrate Halloween and enjoy some fun fall activities this October? Gather your ghosts and goblins and head to the Wilderness for these guest exclusive events including our Halloween Party and Costume Contest!
September 29, 30 and Weekends in October
Trick or Treat Trail
Fridays & Saturdays | 6pm-8pm
Get your kids’ costumes on and stop by the WildKids Club (located on the first level of Take Flight) to get a map of 9 stops on the Trick or Treat Trail and a goody bag. Follow the map and your kiddos will get all sorts of treats and small toys. (Free!)
Halloween Cookie Decorating
Saturdays | 1pm-2pm
Bring out your kiddo’s creative side by letting them decorate a Halloween cookie at the WildKids Club room (located on the first level of Take Flight). One cookie per child. While supplies last. (Free!)
Pumpkin Patch
Saturdays & Sundays | 10am-12pm
Catch a horse-drawn wagon ride in the lower parking lot next to Frontier Condo 219 to our mini-pumpkin patch in Wilderland. Then pick out a mini pumpkin and decorate it with a silly foam sticker face. One per child. While supplies last. (Free!)
Wagon Rides
Saturdays & Sundays | 12pm-4pm
Normal wagon rides resume under the large skywalk by Glacier Canyon Lodge Entrance 1. Enjoy autumn’s colors on the Wilderness trails.

2023 Halloween Party & Costume Contest
Sunday, October 29 | 10 am- 12 pm (Free!)
We’re changing up our Halloween Party this year and hosting a daytime party and costume contest at Glacier Canyon Conference Center. There will be plenty of fun games, crafts, Halloween music and a costume contest! Plus, we will have a Halloween backdrop so you can capture your memories from a fun day!
Our Costume Contest. Will begin at 10 am and will run through 11 am. Guests will be able to enter into 1 of 5 categories (Prizes will be awarded for each category):
- Cutest
- Scariest
- Most Original
- Best Handmade
- Best Group or Duo
A variety of prizes will be awarded.
