Congratulations to our 2025 Team Members of the Year

We truly value our employees and understand how they care for our guests, and one another, plays a vital role in whether families choose to return to our resort.

That’s why we gather and review guest compliments each month and, with input from our directors, recognize two outstanding employees. Each quarter, the resort further honors two exceptional employees and two outstanding managers. And, once a year, we proudly select our Employee of the Year, S.T.A.R.S (Striving to Achieve Remarkable Service) Employee of the Year, Manager of the Year, and S.T.A.R.S Manager of the year recognizing those who consistently demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude and go above and beyond to exceed guest expectations.

The 2025 Manager of the Year was Andrea, who has been in our Accounting Department for 28 years. According to her director, “Andrea is the backbone to the ownership group and the glue that holds the Accounting Department together. She is so reliable, flexible, innovative and ready for anything that comes her way.”

The 2025 Employee of the Year was John, who joined the Wilderness Housekeeping team in 2022. According to John’s director, “John maintains excellent working relationships with Housekeeping managers and other departments he interacts with to ensure everyone receives the necessary laundry items. He is positive, organized and approachable and fully understands the unique requirements of each property.”

As part of their award recognition, both Andrea and John received the choice of either a voucher for a vacation from select destinations in the United States and abroad, 40 hours of vacation time, and $1,000 spending cash or 40 hours of vacation time and $2,000 spending cash as a thank you for a job beyond well done.

Anna, who joined our resort in 2022 and works as an assistant golf professional was named our 2025 S.T.A.R.S. Employee of the Year.  According to her director, “Anna demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication during what was one of the most challenging seasons in Wild Rock’s history. She maintained a calm and professional demeanor, built strong relationships with golfers, and earned the respect and trust of her colleagues. Her reliability and willingness to support the team was invaluable. She is a true asset to our Wild Rock team.”

The 2025 S.T.A.R.S. Manager of the Year was Kipp, who has been with the resort since 2022. According to Kipp’s director, “Kipp’s attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction routinely make our events a success. His leadership and positive attitude have created a great working environment for the banquet staff. We appreciate his hard work and dedication.”

Anna and Kipp each received $500 as part of their recognition.
