So, what does your title mean you do at the Wilderness?
It means that I am responsible for ensuring that all the attractions and arcades are in good working order and all safety measures are met.

What is the best part of your job?
That there is something new to work on each day. Attractions is constantly changing and evolving as the department grows.

How long have you worked at the Wilderness and in what roles?
I’ve worked at the Wilderness for 11 years. I started out as a Slide Attendant with Aquatics; moved up to a Lifeguard; and then became Aquatics Supervisor. Then I transferred to Attractions as a Supervisor; moved up to shift manager and now am in my to my current position of Attractions Maintenance Manager.

Favorite wet attraction at the Wilderness?
I would have to say the Black Hole as you go down pretty quickly.

Favorite dry attraction at the Wilderness?
Laser tag, I was always playing it as a kid and that hasn’t changed as I have gotten older. LOL

Favorite food venue at Wilderness?
Survivors

Favorite thing to eat at Wilderness?
Survivors Pizza or Yucatan Chicken

Favorite adult beverage at the Wilderness for when you get done with work?
The Miami Vice

Piece of advice for first time guests?
Always have a map with you as the Wilderness is a big place with lots to see, and the map will help get you to where you are going.
