Christmas is one of our favorite seasons at our resort! Inside and out, you’ll find festive decorations and a joyful atmosphere. We’ve planned a variety of fun holiday events—come be part of the celebration!
Santa Visits I Free
Don’t forget your camera—or your phone! Santa will be in the lower lobby at Take Flight, right in front of the WildKids’ Club, ready for photos and holiday chats with children. Join us from 9-11am on December 6th, 7th, 13th, 14th, 20th, 21st, & 24th.
Christmas Cookie Decorating I Free
Saturdays
Get into the holiday spirit with cookie decorating fun! Join us every Saturday in December to decorate your own festive sugar cookie. Each kit comes pre-packaged with a cookie, frosting, and sprinkles—decorate with our WildKids staff or take it back to your room to enjoy!
Hot Chocolate I $2
Saturdays & Sundays
Celebrate the season with a sweet treat. Come have a cup of hot chocolate topped with creamy whipped cream with the Wild Kids! It’s the perfect indulgence on a snowy afternoon.
Other WildKids Activities
Our WildKids’ team loves Christmas and has all sorts of activities planned to make sure your holidays are happy! Stop and see us on the lower level of Take Flight to participate in any of the following daily fun activities happening throughout December. Check the Wilderness Express for hours of operation as they vary depending on occupancy.
- Guessing Game I Free – The player who correctly guesses the number of candy canes in the jar will receive a complimentary glitter tattoo.
- Foam Christmas/Winter-themed crafts I Free
- Elf on the shelf – Every day, Figgy and Fizz, our mischievous little elves, will be out and about making a big mess in the Wild Kids room! Visit us to find out what our silly elves did the previous evening!
- Christmas/Winter-themed lip balm I $5
Create your own lip balm with winter fragrances and glitter for a Christmas/winter-themed look! - Christmas/Winter-themed slime I $5 – Create your own slime with a Christmas/winter theme!
- Holiday coloring contest I Free – Color your favorite Holiday picture or draw your very own and submit it to one of our Wild Kids! Then, help us choose the three most original pages. Daily winners will receive a complimentary glitter tattoo!
- Holiday board games and holiday films that are suitable for children.
- Fun holiday puzzles, crosswords, and more!
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer® – A Take Flight Holiday Experience
Fans of the television classic Rudolph will be in for a real treat when Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer makes a stop at Take Flight from November 15-January 15. The all-new, short film uses the same stop motion animation as the beloved television classic to deliver a visually brilliant experience true to the story that has charmed audiences for generations.
When young Rudolph is teased for his red nose and runs away from Christmastown, he sets off on a series of adventures, makes new friends Hermey the Elf and Yukon Cornelius along the way, and escapes the clutches of the Abominable Snow Monster. When an epic snowstorm threatens Christmas, can he rescue his family and friends and help Santa save the holiday?

Burger Bar Featured Cocktails
November 15-January 15
Stop by The Burger Bar in Camp Social for two special Rudolph inspired cocktails. Choose from either a Heat Miser: served in a Camp Social souvenir mug with a shot of Fireball and hot chocolate garnished with a whipped cream, red sugar, yellow sprinkles and 3 pretzel rod pieces arranged like a campfire with a flame pick or a Snow Miser served over ice in a Camp Social cup with vanilla rum, blue curacao, cookie dough syrup and milk. Rimmed with marshmallow fluff and blue sugar and topped with whipped cream, winter sprinkles and half of a sugar cookie.
Camp Social Holiday Fireside Buffet
Enjoy our ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT buffet at Camp Social on Christmas Day from 4-9 pm.
Hot Table items will include: Chef Carved Char Crusted Top Sirloin; Oven Baked Honey Ham; Roasted Turkey with Rosemary Gravy; Scalloped Potatoes; Homemade Stuffing; Sweet Corn Casserole; Whipped Sweet Potatoes with Marshmallow Topping; Glazed Carrots and Green Beans; and Seasonal Homemade Soup.
Cold Table items will include: Mixed Green Salad Bar with Choice of Dressing; Pasta Salads; Honey Butter Dinners Rolls; Local Cheese and Sausage Tray; Fresh Tomato Bruschetta; Homemade Cranberry Sauce; and Shrimp Cocktail
