Miss Wisconsin Teen USA 2025 To Host Storytime in WildKids Room on December 27
Guests staying with us on Saturday, December 27th are in for a special treat! Miss Wisconsin Teen USA 2025, Autumn Gunderson, will be hosting a cozy storytime in our WildKids room at 6 p.m. A special cookie decorating event will be held in the WildKids room prior to the event from 4-6 pm.
Autumn is the author of the children’s book Rockster the Rottweiler Goes to School, a heartwarming story about a dog who faces bullying on the playground and learns how to handle it. She’ll be reading this book—and a few others—during a fun, 20-minute storytime perfect for young listeners. Afterward, her book will be available for purchase, and Autumn will be happy to sign copies.
A senior at DeForest High School, Autumn recently placed in the Top 20 at Miss Teen USA and was named Fan Favorite. She’s an officer in National Honor Society, a leader in DECA, and the founder and president of her school’s Best Buddies chapter—a global nonprofit that builds friendships and creates opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Autumn has already helped raise nearly $20,000 for the organization.
She’s also a former U.S. Senate Page, a dedicated Sunday school teacher, and an active member of several school groups, including yearbook and student council. With more than 350 hours of community service, Autumn is passionate about kindness, inclusion, and giving back.
We’re thrilled to have her with us for this special evening, and we hope you’ll join in for a warm and inspiring story time!
